The takeover attracted approximately 150 people throughout the day, with strong participation from both Nourishment's community and the wider All Points East audience.

The programme created multiple entry points into the festival experience, from creative participation and cultural discussion to live music and informal community gathering.

The audience included a significant number of children and young families, demonstrating the potential for culturally specific programming to remain accessible and intergenerational within a major public festival environment.

The stage also gave emerging and early DJs including Pretty Privilege, SALD3E and ATLX an opportunity to share their work with a new audience, while creating space for Black British music and diasporic sounds within the wider festival programme.

The project brought Nourishment's community-building and cultural programming expertise into a major public festival setting demonstrating our ability to develop a cultural concept, translate it into a multi-format programme and deliver it on the ground, while maintaining a strong connection to the communities we serve. It also reflects our wider mission of creating accessible opportunities for young and underrepresented people to participate in culture, develop creative skills, build connections and see themselves reflected within cultural spaces.

Creative concept & programming
Developed the overall stage concept and programme around Black British music, creativity and self-expression, creating a clear journey from participatory activity into live music.

‍Event production & delivery
Managed the planning and delivery of the stage takeover, coordinating programming, talent, timings, event logistics and on-the-day delivery across a five-and-a-half-hour programme.

Workshop design & facilitation
Delivered Music As Self-Expression, a hands-on zine-making workshop designed by cultural commentator Kiya Khads with artistic facilitation by visual artist Davinia Clarke, giving attendees an accessible & interactive way to explore their relationship with music and identity.

‍Cultural programming & conversation
Curated All Points To Black British Music, bringing DJs into conversation about the sounds, artists and experiences that shaped them. The session was co-hosted by cultural commentator Kiya Khads and Nourishment founder Tito Mogaji.

Curated a line-up spanning Alte, Afrobeats, Afro-electronic, alternative R&B and wider diasporic sounds, featuring performances from ATLX, Pretty Privilege and SALD3E.

‍Hosting & Stage management
Nourishment's founder Tito Mogaji acted as event lead and host, guiding audiences through the programme and creating continuity between the workshops, conversations and music sets.
